Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoy working with numbers? We are now looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our clients’ finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments, while collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment and wants to grow within finance.

About the position

Perido is now looking for a Senior AP Accountant for our client, an innovative and modern

car brand that offers different types of car leasing/access. You will be working from the office based in Gothenburg.

Your daily tasks

As the Senior AP accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely handling of supplier-related financial tasks. The role involves day-to-day processing of invoices and payments, as well as reconciliation and coordination with both internal teams and external suppliers. You will also support the closing process when needed and contribute to smooth collaboration across finance functions.

Key responsibilities include

• Processing supplier invoices
• Making supplier payments
• Reconciling bank and clearing accounts
• Clearing vendor line items
• Communicating with suppliers when necessary
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing
• Collaborating with AR, AP, and Accounting teams

Your characteristics

In this role, it’s important to have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders. You are proactive, take the initiative, and don’t wait for problems to escalate before addressing them. With a solution-oriented mindset and a can-do attitude, you tackle challenges confidently and work efficiently to ensure smooth financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification or sufficient work experience
• Professional-level language skills in English
• Senior experience from Accounting, AR and AP
• Highly skilled in SAP

Contract type and hours

Full-time consulting assignment until 2025-08-31. Start as soon as possible.
